This truly was as good as it gets. We had restaurant fatigue after a few days in Nashville, and debated giving up our plans to go to Rolf and Daughters but decided that, as it was our last night, we'd go and take a chance on a walk-in table being available. Apparently, 50% of the restaurant isn't available for reservations, but is held for walk-ins, including a large communal table, and bar seating. We got ideal seating for us, and the service was impeccable throughout our visit. Highlights were the bread, with seaweed butter and salt that others have spoken of, the beef cheek, pork rib and more. A must.

A Cali friend and a local friend highly recommended this spot; it was my first stop in Nashville. It is a little hard to find and does not have signage outside. It is definitely worth the hype. The service was super friendly and on point. Everyone working here seems to genuinely care and happy to work here. The food, decor, and drinks were awesome. The Mojito was refreshing. The sourdough with seaweed butter, bluefin tuna and rigatoni was excellent. My favorite dish was the agnolotti. I was expecting it to be very rich but it ended up being light and bursting with flavor. The only down note for me was dessert. I had high hopes after the food and it ended up being middle of the road. The peach with ice cream and the seaweed ice cream were meh. I was still super impressed and will happily recommend this spot to everyone.

sourdough bread: 8.5/10 lettuces (green goddess plum gouda): 10/10 pastured chicken: 9.5/10 rigatoni: 9/10 vanilla ice cream (peach amaretti): 10/10 cod sandwich appetizer: 7/10 delicious here! highly recommend the lettuces (this is a salad) it was the best thing here is was sooo delicious!! they have really good food here and i will be going back. however the only thing i would get again that we tried was the lettuces salad. i would try new stuff when i go, so they didn't have like one to-die-for dish. just a generally very good restaurant they change up their menus very often so the ones online are probably not totally accurate, especially for appetizers and desserts. they make their own ice cream there and change it very often. i was sad to see only ice cream bc i like a warm dessert, however the vanilla ice cream was one of the best i've had! i recommend trying the ice cream and they have very unique flavors as well final menu comments: the sourdough was very sticky which i liked. chicken very tender. pasta cooked al dente, pretty firm (ask to cook longer if you like softer pasta) great service! make a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance if you your pick of times and want your own table inside parking: paid parking lot! there is street parking around but likelihood of getting a spot is like 2/10 bathroom: 9/10. loved this bathroom! i am knocking off a point bc the toilet was black. this goes with the vibe but i just didn't like it lol i cannot see if it's dirty

Five stars for Rolf & Daughters! This James Beard Nominated chef is innovative and creative! Run, don't walk, here! The decoration is modern and welcoming. The bar area is simply classic! The ingredients are sourced using items found just a few short miles of the restaurant. Much of the items used to create the dishes are sustainable. You can taste the freshness. First, let's start with service. The amazing server Stephanie & GM Stevie were amazing. They were helpful throughout the meal and made it a five star experience. Please give these ladies a raise! Service Grade: A++ We had 4 appetizers & 2 main dishes to share. Dry aged beef tartare, ramp, parmesan, new potato. What a fun dish beef tartar served on a baked warm new potato. Grade: A- Stracciatella, sungold tomato, prosciutto xo. They make their own Stracciatella cheese in house. Cheese stretched thin like noodles and topped with farm fresh tomatoes! Grade: A- Green tomato, fig, squash, celery, yuzu. A very creative & contrasting mix of local veggie gems! You can taste TN in this dish! Grade: B+ Cucumber, peach, pine nut, basil, fish sauce. Creative dish, well prepared. Appreciated the effort. Honestly, this dish wasn't my favorite. Agnolotti, sweet corn, jalapeño, lime. This dish was one of the highlights of the meal! Fresh local corn made into sweet pillows of deliciousness! This is a must have dish! Grade: A++ Heritage pork, blueberry, rossa di milano onion. Locally raised pork cooked to perfection. Flavorful pork paired with blueberries & onion. Delicious! Grade: A- We had two desserts: Plum Sorbet. Super refreshing and bright sorbet made with a local stone fruit. Great palate cleanser after an amazing. Grade: A- Peach amaretti ice cream with olive oil. This was a second highlight of the meal. I wanted to lick the plate! My eyes rolled backwards after the first bite! Served with a side of Heirloom apple Amaro. The perfect pairing, suggested by GM Stevie! Grade: A++ We ended the coffee, that was served in local made Japanese tea cups! We were blown away at the customer service of Server Stephanie and GM Stevie. They went above and beyond to make it an amazing culinary experience. Thank you Ladies! The food here is creatively made, locally sourced and fun to eat! Overall impression: A
